Originally built around 1100, St-Dunstan-in-the-East was a Church of England parish on St. Dunstan’s hill, halfway between London Bridge and the Tower of London. The church was severely damaged during the Blitz, with only the tower, steeple, and north and south walls remaining.
The Londoners, however, rallied round and turned a wreckage into something wonderful. A lawn and trees were planted in the ruins and a fountain in the middle of the nave, and the site was made into a public garden with occasional open-air services. I would so definitely go to an open-air service here. This is just my opinion, but I feel much closer to God (or the spiritual, or whatever you wish to call it) within ruins and wilderness than amongst the confines of man-made buildings. Which fabric is more green? Acrylic or Cotton?

leftish:

An “acrylic” sweater is totally artificial.  It is made from about one gallon of oil.  I, myself, can’t wear acrylic next to my skin, I start sweating like crazy….

However, 25% of all the pesticides used in the United States are used on Cotton.  It is THE most sprayed crop.

So, I’m not sure which I think is better for the environment…

How about you?  Which fabric do you think is better for the environment?

Of course, with bacon, even if you don’t win, you still win.
